# Overview

> Choose the right providers for banking, crypto, and market data

Sure supports multiple third-party providers for syncing financial accounts and fetching market data. Each provider has different coverage areas, pricing, and features.

## Market data providers

Sure uses market data providers to fetch stock, ETF, and mutual fund prices for your investment accounts. You can enable multiple providers at once and configure them from **Settings > Self-Hosting**.

Available providers include Yahoo Finance, Twelve Data, Tiingo, EODHD, Alpha Vantage, and MFAPI (Indian mutual funds). See the [market data providers](/providers/market-data) page for setup instructions and details on each provider.

## Choosing a provider

### Global coverage

**Lunch Flow** is recommended for users who need worldwide bank coverage. It's a paid service that supports institutions across multiple countries and regions.

### European users

**Enable Banking** is recommended for EU users. It provides free access to European banks through PSD2 open banking standards.

### United States and Canada users

**Sophtron** (alpha) connects bank, credit card, investment, loan, and other financial accounts in the US and Canada. It supports a wide range of institution types through Sophtron's aggregation API.

* **Best for**: US and Canadian users who want broad institution coverage

* **Note**: Currently in alpha

**SimpleFIN** is a cost-effective option for US users. It offers a simpler, more affordable alternative to Plaid.

* **Best for**: US users looking for a budget-friendly option
* **Pricing**: Paid (cheaper than alternatives)

**Plaid** is another US-focused option, but requires more technical setup and may violate their terms of service for personal use.

* **Best for**: Technical users comfortable with complex setup
* **Pricing**: Pay-as-you-go
* **Note**: Using Plaid for personal use might be against their TOS

## Cryptocurrency providers

### Binance

**Binance** integration connects directly to your Binance account to sync spot, margin, and earn balances along with trading history.

* **Best for**: Binance users who want to track crypto holdings and trades through direct exchange integration

### Coinbase

**Coinbase** integration connects directly to your Coinbase account using the Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) API to sync cryptocurrency and fiat holdings.

### CoinStats

**CoinStats** allows you to sync cryptocurrency wallets, DeFi positions, and centralized exchange accounts from multiple blockchain networks.
